Best Selection of 90+ Point Wines Anywhere!!!
We have one of the largest selections of TOP RATED WINES in the nation. Our outstanding
staff selected
many of these wines well before they received outstanding ratings allowing
us to purchase large quantities at bargain prices. These wines all received top honors
from noted wine publications including; Robert Parker's Wine Advocate,
The Wine Spectator, and Stephen Tanzer's International
Wine Cellar.
Best of all, we do not mark these wines up after they received
their high ratings. We maintain our low prices and in many cases we mark down these
wines to ensure that we have the best prices available. If a supplier marks up a wine
after it receives a high rating - we won't offer it to you as we believe we can offer you
outstanding, and high-rated wines, at good prices.
All SALE Wines featured on this page are marked down 10 - 25%. Additionally,
there is a 10% Mixed Case Discount on all non-sale wines. So when you purchase
12 or more bottles of sale and non-sale wines, you get 10% off all the non-sale wines.
You can't beat these wines, or these prices!
CAPTURE CABERNET SAUVIGNON REVELATION 2009, CALIFORNIA
Capture Wines is an ultra-premium winegrowing estate situated 2,450 feet above Sonoma County's Alexander Valley on Pine Mountain. Capture Wines represent the marriage of time honored Bordeaux winemaking with the intense fruit character of their organically farmed mountain estate, Tin Cross Vineyards. The fruit from this magnificent property is farmed and vinified under the eye of winemaker Denis Malbec. In addition to having guided an obscure French outfit called Château Latour, he's also made a couple of "100-point" wines in Napa Valley. This is not a guy who chooses projects on a lark. The intersection of great fruit and talent is clearly evident in the glass with this lineup.
Dense ruby/purple color, stunning purity, subtle notes of smoke, black currants, blackberries, spring flowers and toast, good acidity and ripe tannin. This full-bodied yet graceful, deep, silky Cabernet Sauvignon is already irresistible, but it will provide provocative and complex drinking for 15-20 years. This first release from Capture will surely impress!

CHATEAU DE BEAUCASTEL BLANC CHATEAUNEUF DE PAPE 2010, FRANCE
(80% roussanne and 20% grenache blanc, raised in stainless steel): Pale yellow. Fresh melon, pear and candied ginger aromas are deepened by a hint of honey. Tightly wound lemon curd and orchard fruit flavors open up with aeration, displaying deeper orchard fruit and melon character while maintaining vivacity. Leaves tangy mineral and lemon zest qualities behind on the long focused finish.

CLERICO BAROLO CIABOT MENTIN GINESTRA 2007, ITALY
The 2007 Barolo Ciabot Mentin is one of the greatest wines I have ever tasted at this address. Deep, sensual layers of fruit flow from the glass as this full-throttle, intense Barolo reveals its profound, breathtaking personality.
The 2007 shows tons of Ginestra nuance, but with extra dimensions to the fruit that literally covers every nook and cranny of the palate. Tasting this next to the 2006 is quite a comparison, as both wines are fabulous. Readers who can should be sure to own bottles of both. Astute readers will note the slight name change here, which is the result of new regulations that require the use of the historic vineyard name, in this case Ginestra, or a proprietary name. Call me nostalgic, but it is sad to see one of the iconic labels in Barolo disappear.

DOMAINE GOUGES NUITS-ST-GEORGES 1ER CRU LES VAUCRAINS 2010, FRANCE
"Even deeper in color than the Pruliers. The most fragrant nose, very classy pure mint chocolate on the nose and also on the palate. Very, very creamy, luscious and juicy. Long red raspberry and currant fruit. Good length on the palate, acids form the backbone. Some sour black cherry and mint, again with no tannin until the final flavor then they are quite evident without being in the way. A red licorice finish. Quite concentrated." 18.9/20 Jancis Robinson

CAVALLOTTO BAROLO RISERVA ST GIUSEPPE 2004, ITALY
Ruby red in color, with intense garnet reflections. The nose on this San Giuseppe is intense, packed with ample aromas of dried fruit, dried flowers and more ethereal notes of tobacco and liquorice. Full-bodied and harmonious on the palate, the wine is warm, rich, and soft in the mouth, smoothing the tannin with a pleasant long finish. This wine would pair wonderfully with spicy red meat dishes as well as aged cheeses.

ETIENNE SAUZET PULIGNY MONTRACHET 1ER LES REFERTS 2010, FRANCE
Bright, light yellow. Very pure, scented aromas of lime, lemon ice and acacia flower; conveys a strong impression of the site's deep soil. Big, broad and sweet, but kept firm and fresh but harmonious acidity. Communicates a strong impression of extract and finishes with good tactile grip.
"Pale, bright yellow. Captivating, complex aromas of citrus fruit, pineapple, minerals, flowers and hazelnut. Smooth and concentrated, with lovely lemony cut giving it a very harmonious sugar/acid balance. Sappy, dry and serious, with a mineral-driven aftertaste. Excellent intensity and potential here."

CHATEAU DE BEAUCASTEL CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE 2010, FRANCE
(Roughly 30% each of grenache and mourvedre, with 10% each of counoise and syrah and the balance 'everything else'): Vivid ruby. Fresh raspberry and cherry on the intensely perfumed nose. Sappy and sweet, with deep red fruit preserve flavors and hints of succulent herbs and rose pastille. Packs a punch but also shows impressive energy and balance. The raspberry note carries through on the finish, which also features a suave, slow-building note of star anise

KRUG GRAND CUVEE BRUT N/V, FRANCE
" Resplendent in its new shiny gold label, Krug is a majestic Champagne. Its velvet texture, dominated by mature flavors, is toasty and rich, dense and complex. In the mouth, its beautiful roasted almond, spice and ripe pears all balance impressively. Could the wine be getting even better? No question-this is still one of the greatest nonvintage Champagnes."

VEGA SICILIA TINTO VALBUENA 5 2007, SPAIN
An Amazing Wine! This is a world-class wine that can match up
with the best Bordeaux or Burgundy has to offer. And many would
say better.
"Ruby-red. Aromas of dried cherry, raspberry, vanilla, mocha and Cuban tobacco, with smoke and potpourri accents. Supple and expansive, offering sweet, spice-accented red and dark berry and floral pastille flavors that stain the palate. Dusty tannins add shape and grip to the very long, smooth, penetrating finish. I find this wine quite approachable now, but it has the balance to age. Not the weightiest Valbuena but very impressive for the vintage." - Decanter 95 Pts

CARDINALE NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2008, CALIFORNIA
The 2008 exhibits a dense purple color along with sweet kirsch, unsmoked cigar tobacco, toasty oak and black currant characteristics. The wine hits the palate with a resounding opulence, full-bodied richness, moderate, sweet, well-integrated tannins and a long, heady finish. There is a floral component in the 2008 that was not noticeable in the 2007. This beautiful, full-bodied wine was aged 21 months in 100% new French oak. Slightly more evolved than the 2007, the 2008 should last for 20-25+ years.
