Puerto del Monte - Mencia 2019

Deep cherry red with purple highlights, intense aromas of black fruit, notes of tar and pencil lead that characterise the Mencia grape with some hints of spices. Fresh acidity well balanced with the sweetness of the alcohol and a touch of oak, medium bodied with a long fruity finish
 

Dark garnet in the glass, this wine has aromas of blackberry, black currant, leather and Sevilla orange. There is a simultaneous sense of brightness and weight on palate with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, salted caramel, almond and mocha wrapped in a sheath of chewy tannins. Cranberry and butterscotch flavors arrive just in time for the long finish.
